Marco Pellegrino

You definitely made my day in a cold London afternoon, I'll definitely add your blog link to the mine. I'm from Livorno but I've been leaving in London for 3 years. I just start my new blog at labronicus.blogspot.com with a recipe of cacciucco, in the way in which as to be done. Check out and let me know. Glad you enjoyed your livorno gourmet experience

Boots in the Oven

Thank you, Marco! Glad I could help with that London weather. :-)

Thank you for the link, as well!

Sarah

What a brilliant article! And your photography is superb, you put me to shame! I have just started running a website about livorno, so was very interested to read your comments. You were unlucky with the weather you know, as Livorno is usually much warmer than inland Florence!
I will be looking into Da Capino as I don't know it!

Thank you, Sarah! I'm glad you liked the post and the pictures. March is such a changeable time of year.

Your website seems like a great resource!

John Everest

I have just returned from a 5 day trip to Livorno and the weather was gorgeous, especially on the sunday when the football was. Sadly, Amaranto lost! The town and people were lovely. I am taking my wife there later this year!! (obviously, it has to coincide with another home game!)

Girlie

Thanks for commenting, John Everest! Too bad they lost, but you're right - it's a great town. Great food, and the people are indeed lovely. I hope you have a great time on your return - get some cacciucco!
