We were in Certaldo Alto in 2004 for a week and liked it. Will be going back in 2009 and have located some apartments and hotels we may stay in. However, in 2004, they were renovating some apartments right next to the funicular, as you got off, on the left. Does anyone know how to contact the owners of those?

Lee Ann Tetrault

The fine fellow that owns the Enoteca Boccaccio, rents various apts. right there on the Via Boccaccio. Look him up on his website, or check out the place on Facebook, they're all such great folks that own and patronize that place. Loved Certaldo just about the best of all the hill towns we went to, along with Volterra and Pienza. Lee Tetrault, Powhatan, Virginia

Thanks for the info, Lee! Certaldo is terrific.
